Using a VPN will not block you, for this you must either use it maliciously to gain an advantage. For example, by delaying certain packets sent to the server to abuse server-side compensation.
If you're just using it to hide your current IP address, that's perfectly fine. However, remember that you should use the one that is closest to you, preferably in the same country, and don't use it to get regional event elements from different regions as this could be seen as abuse.
Perhaps use Cloudflare Warp for this as it only redirects your traffic through the nearest host, is a globally trusted DNS provider and is also fast and free.
