Hotend thermistor reading 129c at room temp
I'm using the 42 v1.2 toolboard and the Rapido that comes with the V4 kit. As near as I can tell I have everything selected correctly but the I still get an incorrect reading. I have the jumper in place for the enhanced temp reading as instructed in the build guide. Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong...

With the jumper off it reads 159c... 😩
drop your printer.cfg in here
you don't want to bother with the "enhanced" temp reading. There are issues I can't recall off the top of my head about using the MAX chip.
And your temp being off is 99% of the time the wrong thermistor. Which rapido do you have? It might have the thermistor type on heatshrink on the cables coming from it.
Not at the printer, will check tomorrow. Thanks for the help!
I checked the Rapido and it has a PT1000 RTD. Changed this in RatOS.cfg and it now reads 159.3c at ambient. The RTD checks out at ~1.1k ohms at the pins. So the crimps are good. Wondering if this could be a bad toolboard?
Found the wrong thermistor in one of the config files. Now they should all say PT1000. I think I may redo the configurator again as now the cooling fan is running when it shouldn't be. 😕
Re-did the configurator just to make sure it is the same everywhere. Now everything is reporting the correct temps.
woot!
