Are there any mods or resource packs that make grass look grey or something?
nope
i'm using dh from 1.6 alpha and thought it was normal
but after i wanted to make screenshot of this terrain i realized how ugly it is
Can you update to the latest version please to see if it has been fixed

Has it been fixed? If not could you please make sure your transparency isn't set to complete and restart your game then send another screensnhot
Turn off "Tint to block below" in dh settings
Advanced settings then advanced settings again iirc
