Resetting world without losing inventories
Hi, I am the owner of a Purpur 1.21.1 server on the latest build
The seed me and my players have used in the world turned out to be really bad and plain. So we decided to move seeds, but without inventories going away.
Basically I want to reset the world, but keep all of the players inventories. How should I go about this?

There should be a directory inside your world folder (forgot name) containing .dat and .dat_old files
Thatโs playerdata
So update your world, and paste those back into the new world folder
What, no
level.dat has no player data
False
Player data is in your world folder, literally called playerdata
U want to backup that folder at least
Maybe advancements too
@1whoยกssus? bro can you read?
I said โforgot nameโ
o
Why are you so eager to disprove me ๐
My bad I thought you said level.dat had player data
Just be aware if you copy the playerdata as is, I believe this will keep their positions as they were, so you may need to nbt-edit them to safe coordinates.
or just not care and hope they dont die
or just make a basic plugin that will teleport the player to a safe location/highest block at theirs Y location and remember if they was teleported already.
im not familiar w plugin dev soz
yupp i found it
i copied over all datapacks, advancements and playerdata and it seemed to work
