Community Clothing Field Pants Experiences
Hey y’all!
My search for pants has with some help from friendly community members landed me at the community clothing field pants.
Since I won’t reasonably be able to return this I want to make sure to nail the fit on these.
I checked the size chart and the waist circumference seems so be 100cm, giving a flat waist measurement of 50cm.
When I measured my pants today the flat waist measurement for most of them seemed to be closer to 51 or 52 cm. However this didn’t directly correlate to how tight they fit me, so I’m asking for experiences.
I usually wear a 38 or a 40 in most brands and I’m wondering if I’ll be good with the 38 size.
I’ve heard they fit big in the waist but 100cm isn’t unusually big for a 38 waist either.
Also yes I am fully aware that I am absolutely and severely overanalyzing this!

I would assume that they will widen a bit while wearing, just like jeans do
Which is propably also what happened to your pants
You’re probably right, I’ll likely be fine. Only way to know is to try after all.
Those look pretty good btw! If i was a chino person i would be all over them!
My field pants are very very true to the size chart.
(and big for the tagged size)
Right. If they’re that accurate for the size chart I might be SOL for them
Just seems odd to me that they’d recommend sizing down when the waist measurement is actually smaller than it is for their other trousers.
I get that they’re huge, but if you can’t close them you can’t close them 🤷🏻♂️
It's because you're meant to wear them suuuper high
Like belly button level
I'm usually a 29 waist and I bought the 28 and still had to get them taken in a bit.
Right, makes sense. I‘m widest around the belly button, so I suppose that advice is meant for the not so squishy folks!
Yeah also had to size down and they were still pretty oversized, particularly in the seat
Better workout those glutes 😤
