Wifi settings won't save?

Can connect to the Hotspot and enter the web page. It finds my wifi, I enter password. Save and continue. It just won't connect to the wifi and resorts to Hotspot. Cb1 on M8P Previous klipper install worked fine. Any ideas or a work around like editing a file or something?

Yup tried changing that. Noticed lines that said something along the line of ratos supplied configured settings as well. That was set correct. Feel like its a timeout issue with the router, is there a timeout limit somewhere i can change to give it more time before it restarts the AP? Going to just start from step zero. must be missing a step somehow.

Fresh Pi etch. first shot is the file just after etching, i edited the wifi ssid and password. put card in cb1, it made the ratos ap. connected and went through the steps there. It then again made the ratos ap. removed sd from cb1 and setting file is now the second screen shot. ok so i edit it again (screenshot 3). It still creates ratos ap. Ive done all this on a pi3 next to the cb1 and it works just fine so seems to be a cb1 issue.

CB1 writes to a different file for WiFi settings You need to use the /boot/system.cfg. this doesn't exist on pi so not sure how you edited it there...
