terrible embossed lettering

Looking for advice on how to improve the clarity of the embossed numbers. I've seen these turn out beautifully on prints from other printers, but not sure what settings to tune/adjust.

flow rate and first layer, along with speed will increase that quality. Its only 1 layer thick so its never going to be amazing. Not sure what slicer you are using but I know Orca does tabs like that. Get your first layer as clean as you can, then run the first flow rate one that does +20 through -20. Then pick the step above the one that shows gaps. Then do your calculation to adjust flow rate to the new setting, then rerun the test that does 0 through -9 and pick your best one. Redo your first layer calibration as it probably changed as you changed the flow rate and then if you really want to get it clean redo a test again but do like +2 through -2 at 1/2% increments. I just do it at 1% increments and call it a day though.

Yeah, it's those tabs are from the Orca Slicer flow rate tests. Will work on smoothing out the first layer
