anyone else had Shockbyte server issue?
I've recently bought a subscription for the Shockbyte server hosting service but ran into a weird problem that I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced...
So I've had a subscription before with this group, a 10GB server for modded fun with friends. Where as soon as I purchased it, it was up and ready to be set with the mods we were using and running right away.
However after ending the subscription for that back in FEB. we recently decided to play again, so I bought a 9GB yesterday but the server STILL is telling me that theyre loading things for me. You can see the SS i took below for reference. Even refreshing the page doesnt seem to help and I had this page open all day today and last night... Shockbytes staff hasnt responded to my ticket that I started yesterday two hours after my server was "active".
Everywhere I look I cant find any solutions. Anyone else seeing/had this before? What did you do to fix?

I used the service before to host a 30 person modded server with a bunch of people without any issues though, this is the first time ive had any issue

plus the fact that they give you bad hardware and prohibit pregeneration / world sizes over 5gb in their TOS is ridiculous

For somewhat obvious reasons, I don't think i'm capable of giving a fully impartial opinion but i'll do my best.
Whichever option would be most suitable would largely depend on yours needs. For example, Enviro may offer locations that lilypad doesn't. Enviro also has different tiers of plans with budget and premium lineups whereas, i believe, lilypad generally focuses more on dedicated CPU options although I may be mistaken so don't hold me to that.
Overall, the general availability of locations and overall performance is probably in a similar ballpark, particularly as both companies run on near identical equipment.
That's comparing enviro's premium against lilypads offerins as they're more closely matched in price ($2.50-$2.75/GB range). If you're looking for a more budget option, that would again change the optics depending on your needs

That is quite a weird issue. The main thing that came to mind was the captcha failing/being blocked by a JS/ad blocker

Youtube seems to be getting too good at bypassing adblockers. I had a 20 second unskippable ad injected into the actual video earlier (opposed to being a seperate video)

I just dont see a datapack fold here and its telling me i cant upload the folder file directly

there should be sftp/ftp
i check the servers property files where it always normally is and it wasnt so i put it there to be safe and check anyways and it didnt work
Is it 64*64
Make sure it's 64x64 pixels and an actual png (and not called server-icon.png.png as i've seen as a common issue for windows users)
After that, if it's still not showing up, make sure to reboot your server and game client as I believe the server icons are cached upon launch and don't automatically refresh
