I like the Reigning Champ midweight zip hoodies in terry. Very comfy. And can still find some Made in Canada hoodies and zip hoodies left before all starts to be made abroad.
I prefer fleece so I don’t like reigning champ personally. I have a sweatshirt (not hoodie) from j crew that I like
Also unironically the silly company swag I get from CustomInk is really really comfy. Soft fleece fabric
Yeah, I think fleece vs. terry is a good starting point question, depends what you prefer.
Though looks like the two heaviest cuts from Reigning Champ are fleece, the Tiger Fleece & Heavyweight Fleece.
I picked up a nice Wallace & Barnes heavy fleece crewneck on eBay, but doesn't look like J.Crew has W&B fleeces for sale right now. Not sure whether current J.Crew brand sweatshirts would be similar to older Wallace & Barnes.
The Nike fleece is actually the most comfortable until you wear it out.
