how to fix over extrusion.

I have recently switch to the ratrig print head with the rapido 2 uhf hotend. now my prints are extremely over extruded. I have tried reducing my "rotation_distance: " user override section but doesn't help.

Did you redo your configuration with the updated extruder default settings? If you have the correct default extruder rotational distance in there you need to tune your flow rate per filament type in your slicer.

"Extrusion: ~ 96 mm @ 24.1 mm³/s - 0.4 mm" does not change when change my rotational distance. I am testing changing the flow rate in my slicer now

is it the same extruder or did you change that along with the hotend? are you sure you are not just running into a flow rate issue with trying to push so much through the printer? a rapido2 uhf can do more than that but you are getting up there without increasing heat, going to a CHT, etc from my understanding

the extruder is an Oribter 2 . what is a CHT? reducing the flow rate in the slicer has helped a lot and I think with continued testing and tuning in the slice I will get a good print quality.
