Filament unloads on RR 2.1 RC making weird "nubs", leading to clogs.
So, this didn't happen (or I don't recall it happening) before 2.1RC.
New unload process attempts a filament tip shaping unload (or at least looks like that to my still noob eye).
The problem is that I'm not getting a clean unload, and instead I've been getting filament that's got a great tip, but a thinner, weak section that's prone to breakage. Attached is an image of a filament tip with this that I clipped off.
I've already gotten a stupidly nasty clog from some pla being formed like this, but then the nub breaking off, partially melting, burning, and getting stuck in the worst part between the heating area and heartbreak. Other times, that I caught it more quickly, I've been able to release the idler door and manually feed filament until it cleared out.
Is there something I can tune so it maybe tries one less ram/retract procedure? Or is this a symptom of improperly assembled hw and there's something I should adjust physically?
