DH doesn’t work say my pc is low memory + how to use shaders with Modrinth?
Im trying to get DH working on modrinth but the chunks don’t load that far. It says I have low memory and might cause stuttering or an fps drop but it just doesn’t work..
im having trouble with shaders too the option just doesn’t show up? Is there a way to have optifine with fabric and modrinth and all that?
any mod recommendations which wont conflict and look cool wld be awesome too
I honestly am on my knees to get a view like from the screenshots channel it would rllly mean a bunch <3

Generating LODs takes time, so you won't be able to see far at the start.
MC's world gen is slow, so LOD Generation is also slow.
You can increase
CPU Load
to increase the generation speed
Do you have iris installed?like the shaderpack?
There is a way to play with optifine on fabric, but I would advise against doing this as it creates lots of mod incompatibilites, is slower than sodium and every feature of optifine can be replicated with another mod
No, the mod
iris shaders?
Yea
How much total RAM do you have?
yo ma fault
No worries
I think it’s like 8gb
on my potato laptop haha
Then I would allocate about 5 GB RAM
how do I do that?
One sec
also do I use fabric as launcher lol
Yea, use fabric as a modloader
What mc launcher are you using?
Modrinth App, right?
yeah
my mods now are ambientsound creativecore dh iris sodium soundphysics terra lite and fabric api
Go into Settings,
Java Settings
-> Java Memory
-> Set it to 5120
Thats how you allocate 5 GB RAMdone
does that make it better
When you start minecraft and go into video settings, a shader button should appear right?
Yea, it does
it says iris is incompatible
Can you show a screenshot?
darn

On what minecraft version are you?
do I update it or sm
er should I be on 1.21
sorry idk how this works lmao
DH + Shaders works on multiple different versions. What mc version is your instance on?
1.19
I had dynamic surroundings mod n it only worked at 1.19
so I just changed it
Dynamic Surroundings also has a version for 1.20.1
oh
DH + Shaders won't work on 1.19, so switch to 1.20.1 or newer
