You need Iris 1.8 for nightly
For stable:

- Sodium 0.5.8 or above
- Iris 1.7.0 or above
- Indium version 1.0.30 or above
- Fabric API (latest version)
- Distant Horizons version 2.1.0 or higher
- Compatible Shaderpack: https://gist.github.com/Steveplays28/52db568f297ded527da56dbe6deeec0e

It is avaible as nightly on Iris DC server

No problem
use old versions of distant horizons on curseforge
sure, but does it still on for 1.21.1?
yes it does
alr
use curseforge
Curseforge is giving Nightybuilds and Modrinth is giving stable versions
@CallMeNoob

yea dw
alr
Click the message that i replied and right click my message (not name) go to apps and make it solve
its already solved
oh
Not quite. Both curseforge and modrinth have stable versions. The nightly builds can only be found in #links-n-downloads
now the version not match
Beta
Curseforge - distant horizons - download beta
not alpha
use 2.12
i mean 2.10
Distant horizons
Where do you see that?
I can't seem to find the download beta button
SEE
The exact same files show for me when I toggle that switch
I don't see a B for beta either
In versions
In files
Choose 1.20.1 version
it will refresh and give you betas
That would be just CurseForge being broken
Note that DH never had a ”stable release”
The whole mod is still in Alpha
The letters and marks don’t matter here

The bata tag is here only so that CurseForge can display the mod
because CurseForge is broken
ok i lose
it didnt work btw
alright
Modrinth an CurseForge have "stable" releases (the mod itself is still in alpha)
#links-n-downloads has nightly(/in-dev/alpha of the alpha)
it says wrong version
If you want to use DH nightly download it from #links-n-downloads
Then download Iris and Sodium nightly from Iris DC server
.
If you don't want to play with that download all 4 from Modrinth or CurseForge

problem is i tried to download the iris 1.8 but my anti virus thingy came out
so...
with anti-virus things you use
So you would have to stay with stable build for now, and wait for official DH release 2.2.0 some time soon
alr then
how long would it take tho
Modrinth
Iris Shaders - Minecraft Mod
A modern shaders mod for Minecraft intended to be compatible with existing OptiFine shader packs
Modrinth
Sodium - Minecraft Mod
The fastest and most compatible rendering optimization mod for Minecraft
depends on your internet,
for me less then half a minute
I also use the Modrinth App, so everything is easier and faster
i meant like how long till 2.2.0 release
The release promo video is ready, but some bugs were just discovered
After they are fixed it should be couple days for CurseForge to allow for the update
And then it will release
Oh I see the B now
Lol
I don't know how I missed that
Ok
do not use Stable releases it have errors and can crash your game use Nightly on Fabric stables on forge
I was using stable of fabric with no issues for 2+ months
for non-nvidia pcs
with stables on fabric cause some errors like fake chunk loadings
and others
Minecraft crashing randomly
Current nightly has less bugs, because it is ready for release, but if you would scrool down through help-me you would see that it is not always the case
i'm good with Nightly
also nightly gives more fps than stables
Stables have more queue chunks than Nightly
Yeah, there are some AMD driver specific bugs and MacOS fog issues that were fixed in nightly, but I have an NVIDIA GPU
Let's hope that's not for long
😦 i don't have nvidia gpu
+ stables took more time to load fixed chunks
Stable isn't stable at all
That is because the mod is still in Alpha and "stable" is called "stable" and "in-dev" is called "in-dev" just to make the differance noticable for average user
Current nightly still has some wierd crashes and incompatibilities
Nightly is a bit stable than Stable versions
I can't wait for the amount of bugs and instability when the #Server-side support will be merged into the main version
This nighlty will be wild
...
i better buy nvidia before it
Remember that is only temporary, when this version will be released as stable, new experimental features will be added, and well... we will see...
btw 1.20.4 is no more compitable with eachothers causing crashes to shaders on new versions
What do you mean with crashes? The current nightly will basically be what 2.2 will become so if you have/know of something that needs fixing, better do it now
I mostly mean incompatible mods combos that causes crashes
Aah I see
