Also want to use controller as well
With shaders and I'm just so lost
Use 1.21.0, problem solved
If you are on fabric you can try this: https://discord.com/channels/881614130614767666/1271477617400217620/1271480238299152494
Next DH release will have 1.21.1 support
Nightly should also have it, but IDK if there is any auto build for it yet
I think you need a mod that would add a Controler support to MC
/shadersupport

How do I revert to that build?
Just install MC 1.20.0
IDK how vanilla launcher does it, it is hard to use so I don't use it.
I use Modrinth APP
here is a tutorial if you would like to switch:

Here is how it looks:
How do I find that version through modrinth? Thank you for all the help sorry for all the questions 😂
Click the green
+
in the down left corner
and select it from the listOkay so once I do that it should just fix everything? And I have midnight controlls for controller but the shaders settings don't show
.
Forgot to ping lol
Well this will create a separate MC instance
Inside it you can select all the mods you had ot copy them over, to copy them over:
- open
.minecraft
folder and copy the mods
folder
- click the instance then the folder icon on the left and paste the mods
folder there
To add mods to the instance:
- click the instance
- click green add content
and select the modswhat is 1.20.0
does it even exists
right...
typo, but yes it does exist
no way
it does not.
I guess you would have to setup the shader setting before switching to controler
1.20 == 1.20.0
1.20 is not 1.20.0
10 == 10.0
4 - 4 = 0.0
ok whatever
10.0 == 10.00
dw i have passed my grade
Would you show me a little video of how it's all done 😂 no worries if not
Select Forge/NeoForge/Fabric
I use Fabric
Then click
Select game version
Same fabric seems to be the best now days
Sry didn't mean to interrupt 😂
MC 1.20.1 has the most amount of cool mods
MC 1.21 is newest supported by DH
I use 1.20.1
Thank you!
no problem!
Hey how do I buff up the ram usage?
Hi! Thank you @Miki_P98 , I followed all of these steps and they were super useful. I opted for version 1.21 of minecraft. But the only error I'm getting now seems to be an error with Iris. I tried the newest version, the 1.21 verison (which should work since I selected version 1.21), and even tried older versions. Anyone know a fix around this?
Error:
Incompatible mods found!
net.fabricmc.loader.impl.FormattedException: Some of your mods are incompatible with the game or each other!
A potential solution has been determined, this may resolve your problem:
- Remove mod 'Iris' (iris) 1.7.2+mc1.21
More details:
- Mod 'Distant Horizons' (distanthorizons) 2.1.3-a-dev is incompatible with version 1.7.4 or earlier of mod 'Iris' (iris), but a matching version is present: 1.7.2+mc1.21!

I believe if you go to the settings on Modrinth, there's a bar at the bottom of the page called "Java memory" and you can drag the bar to your desired usage. However I'm not sure if this is actually for minecraft or for the modrinth launcher itself lol.
The nightly builds are incompatible with iris atm, use DH 2.1.2 instead
Or Iris Nightly
