When resetting modded world, old chunks still show when loading new ones. New world name, new world
Title. As seen in the video. I am unsure if this is client or server sided, I can't guage any idea where this old chunk data is being pulled from, as if it's cached somewhere.
Thank you!

Just delete the old LODs
/lodstore
Single Player:
- Overworld:
.minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Nether: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM-1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- End: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Custom Dimensions: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIMENSION_FOLDER/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
Multiplayer:
- .minecraft/Distant_Horizons_server_data/SERVER_NAME/
hm not there on my client
it isnt any of these
Am I missing it on the server side?
.minecraft
if you are using the #Server-side support you have to also delete the LODs on the server
It seems you never joined any servers with DH installed
oh you know what
it isnt on my server
I remember cause I read it was client only
modpack client has it but not the server, ill reset and restart with it installed
So
Distant_Horizons_server_data
does not exist, but you were playing on the server?yes
I had read somewhere that the chunk loading was on the player so I may have misread that
Also why did you send a screenshot of a local world, when you have a problem with server LODs?
My bad, mistook singleplayer for client
I'm lost
When you join the world you have wrong LODs in do you:
a) join it via singleplayer tab in your game
b) join it via multiplayer tab in your game
Multiplayer
It the LODs saved there must be a
Distant_Horizons_server_data
folder directly in the MC instance main directoryThis is the main server directory but I dont have DH installed server-side, so let me restart with it
I think you are confused because you think the screenshots are from the client, when they're actually from the server
Look for the Distant_Horizons_server_data folder on the client, not on the server
oh my
can I speak auto mod
@Puhpine (GMT +2)All that data is from today which sucks
Are you sure? It's quite large. Delete the whole Minecraft+Server folder to see if your LODs reset
I need to reset the server anyways, have a mod that created a new dimension I didnt like
before that, should I have DH installed server side too?
Or is client only appropriate
You can if you want to, but its not necessary. DH serverside is still experimental so stuff might break
gotcha
:cryingcool:
This blows haha
Are those the old chunks?
yessir
And you deleted the whole Minecraft+Server folder?
There was nothing left?
Im just stupid
However you are not
tyvm
Lol
Np!
I HOPE this is the last bug xD
Ive spent the better part of 3 days cooking up this modpack and server for the 10+ thatll be playing it
they better be thankful :CK_ETU:
Yep lol
On a side note
I want my friends to see the scale of everything when they first join, if I load a lot of chunks around spawn and assuming their settings are cranked up they should see everything I loaded myself right
Yes, if you give them the SQLite file(s)
/lodstored
Single Player:
- Overworld:
.minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Nether: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM-1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- End: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Custom Dimensions: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIMENSION_FOLDER/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
Multiplayer:
- .minecraft/Distant_Horizons_server_data/SERVER_NAME/
These things
so basically have them replace the sereverdata folder entirelyt
Well not the whole server data folder, but the folder for the server yes
in this case just the overworld
I can hand it over
Yep
Very cool
That one
and if it breaks they can just delete it like I did and reload themselves
Indeed
Shaders shouldnt affect that right
If they/you set it up correctly, no
With that I mean that shadersupport is working in general
back to this tho
does it matter what settings I have when loading these chunks
like if I have it laoded as a high preset, will my friends load it as such
or does it digest the data according to their settints
No, doesn't matter
