Minecraft crashes every 30-40 minutes or so
As stated in the title I'm on a hardcore world with mods on ATlauncher and apparently either DH or indium is causing the crashes

but it doesn't matter I had it on 4, 8, 12, 16 and 24
it crashes on all of them

you only need 8gb
sometimes more can be weird
well idk I noticed that when I don't have enough ram and I have it all used up, unloading old dh chunks cause some lag
normally I have 600 fps and it goes down to less than 60
try removing mod list. and run singleplayer
if thats stable then try increasing the mod list until it breaks
likely a mod is causing the crash
well when I didn't have indium and dh it didn't crash
yeah its likely related to indium + dh but, unlikely to be caused BY them
what im saying is a mod is likely crashing your game when it has an issue with a mod + indium + dh. From what Im assuming you would rather have indium + dh over 1 mod

but im running a server with 193 mods and no crashes
the fact i was able to run 512 lods with pbr textures with seus ptgi on 2 gb of ram
is this still a ram issue?
and what mods should I try first

Try a binary search and figure out which mod is causing it.
So disable half of the mods, see if issue is still there, if yes disable half again etc etc until you find the mod that's causing the issue.

it's most probably xaero's minimap or worldmap
so the cost of discovering this is my asus rog mouse, a few stacks of wood, cobblestone, observers, pistons, stacks and stacks of redstone and iron and my will to play the game
this has ruined my 2 week minecraft period

and my mouse is definitely done for now

I disabled most mods and it still crashed
personally if you want pretty headache free modding experience you could start with a premade mod list for dh + iris

should start with having the right version of java. Definitely could cause random crashes

i had a crash occurring with the same error which was resolved by the latest nightly builds of distant horizons, maybe you'd have some luck with those?
