need help for best settings for fps
What can I do to improve my fps? What are the best settings for distant horizons? Which performance mods can I use? I feel like loading chunks takes a while and Im not having enough fps. Im wondering what I can do to get the best visuality without losing too much fps. (minecraft settings etc.)

sodium, lithium and indium can help boost performance, if you have and RTX card nvidium can also help.
the performance for distant horizon depends on the specs of your current computer so try each present and see which performs better

to help world gen these mods can help C2ME, Noisium speed it up. you can also assign more threads inside the DH config
C2ME hurts DH worldgen speed
it only helps pregen mods and vanilla chunk loading
As for settings best quality to fps ratio for me I got from:
- quality preset medium
- then vertical quality to high
And tuning the Noise texture and fog to better hide the vanilla to DH transition

yh I have some performance mods other than those aswell

less than the amount of processors you cpu has, i usually go about half
nvidium doesn't allow shaders
NVIDIUM allows shaders, but disables itself when they are active
what is the STR thing in the noise settings

I think I set my shaders too high
they were on ultra and I couldnt set dh too high
but I put em to high now and Im able to set dh to high
this happens when Im flying around
what are the best options for this? my cpu has 12 threads
yes, but Noise texture is overriden by most shaders, so you can also look in shader settings
I use agressive preset
There were optimised threading somewhere

Yea I just meant you can't run nvidium with shaders on
set you number of world gen threads to 4 and set number of lod builder threads to 4 also
