LOD unloading before chunk loads in
Just a quickie question, is the issue on the pictures solely based on CPU load? Running a pretty heavy modpack and i'm assuming it slows down the chunk rendering so the LODs just disappear before they can load in, CPU is at 100% and i'd guess thats the culprit
Is there anything I could do to make it more seamless? Will be playing on a server later, not hosted by me, could that possibly take off some of the load to improve it?
Running a few performance mods like modernfix, canary, immediatelyfast, krypton reforged and noisium

I have cpu load set to balanced, haven't changed any other DH setting
It is overdraw prevention
Vanilla chunks can't load in time
There are 2 fixes:
1. The best fix, make vanilla chunks load faster or move slower, you can achieve this by:
- installing more performace mods
- reducing vanilla RD
2. Worse fix, tune the overdraw prevention settings. Thought normally this setting is in the DH config, shaders override it so look in shader settings. It your shader does not allow for changing overdraw prevention, contact the shader dev or change the shader
thank you, will try, sadly i don't think i can make the chunks load any faster in this pack
I'm having a similar problem, did you find a shader that lets you tune the overdraw prevention?
Simply Upscaled
has a smart overdraw prevention that changes depending on how fast you moveI actually just tried using complementary unbound and not only did it remove my issue, but got me a ton of fps too
