You should be able to access dh settings from the vanilla options menu
/config
To edit the config, press the button next to the FOV slider to edit the config.
The config file found in .minecraft/config/DistantHorizons.toml
that would just crash my game, i was trying to do this on lunar client (which i later just used modrinth to make a modpack) which i assume clashes with the mod

So are you currently on lunar client or Modrinth App or smth else?
If you're using Lunar, its incompatible with DH
i assumed it was incompatible, thats why i switched to and am currently using modrinth. i thought i mentioned it in the original post, but ig not

i used lunar, i figured that was why
this is the server im hosting with my friends, id say we're doing pretty well so far
