Loungewear - Topic of the day 8/5/24
In those moments when you don't intend to pull off a fit, what clothes/shoes/accessories are you wearing? Does your loungewear reflect your personal style in some way? Have you incorporated loungewear in your fits?

Getting loungewear that I like is great bc then I wear cool lounge fits at home and my “real fashion clothes” out for fits
I want to upgrade my loungewear, i feel like i could be doing better than sweats and some random t shirt

I pretty much have a home "uniform" which I don't care about fucking up, and then I save all my nicer clothes until I haven't worn them at all and sell them for a loss because I outgrew them either physically or emotionally.
To answer the OP - no to all questions. I basically just wear some old stuff I don't wear outside. I wear loungewear as little as possible anyway - pretty much only late at night after ive gotten back from the gym and showered
Cute loungewear is definitely dressing 103. A lot of time style and comfort are a trade off but not always, it just takes more intention.
I cannot stop wearing this combo of ultra soft vintage tee and cotton rick boxer shorts lately. It's a bit schleppy to wear outside but mostly still cute so I think that's a projection.
There's definitely an art to schlepping though
i’ve slowly transitioned into techbro adjacent because i keep getting free t-shirts from my work but i’m not eager to wear a shirt that says snowflake on the front, out and about, where i live
Spandex shorts and muscle tank is my go-to at home/workout fit
Too nsfw for postage I'm afraid 🤫
My go to outfit lounging at home is this Reigning Champ robe with some shorts or sweatpants and moccasins
Sometimes a tee shirt will be involved
It really depends on the weather, but in the winter the big knitted fisherman sweater comes out and stays on
yeah my buffalo cowichan comes out once fall hits and stays on
A lot of my loungewear is just comfy clothes that I don't wear out anymore
I have a super cozy Kyoto jacket that's my go-to layer for painting

for me it’s just sweatshorts and an old tee 😎 i use my rubber birks as house shoes / cleaning the house shoes lol
high key the better classics sweatpants by puma
those hit hard
some nike cotton sweatpants because they're too comfortable
with slides and my ugliest tshirts
not much of a point in keeping an aesthetic when you're alone imo
I kinda disagree there, if your aesthetic is something you're comfortable in
Boxer shorts are loungewear to me bc I realized that i kind of hate wearing them as proper underwear but they are great as summer pyjamas
Dressing gowns are kinda great
