2FA (lost for Admin account) - what is the procedure and how long does it take?
Hello,
Can someone give me a break down based on their experience on if a user was to loose access to the admin account, 2FA and associated device, with the Free CF account. What happens then?
What is the procedure for reporting this, what questions are asked by CF to regain access (we do have access to the email account just not 2FA or backup codes), and how long for a response, and how long will the process take?

Yes but what is the procedure, and how long would i expect to wait for recovery?
Usually they'd ask either for a token to be placed on your websites code or for you to provide billing information if there is any on the account
Turnaround should usually be up to a few days but I dont have insight into the current queue length so if theyre busy it might be longer
are we talking weeks, months? A client reported waiting nearly 4 months approx
waiting times vary by what the ticket is about, 2fa ones are usually on the lower end which is why i said and stick by "few days".
I would suggest submitting it and seeing what happens, then reporting back here if you're stuck waiting for an extended time and someone may be able to provide further guidance
