temperature above max or below min shutdown
If RatOS shut down for a temperature error is that for sure a thermistor error or could I be because I haven't done my heater yet?

If it's a heater problem you'll get "not heating at expected rate". The error in your title is thermistor related.
Ok thanks π I thought so it means my crimping was bad π
I got better wire strippers coming tomorrow hopefully they help before it's too short ππ
or you picked the wrong thermistor (if it's the hotend, that is..)
Almost positive I picked the 1000 one not the nt100
Wait no I didn't actually pick I left it at default
Remember the jumperβ¦
I did remember it but I think it's my crimps were bad as it's a tiny wire and I didn't have the best tool to take the sleeve off and it's really hard once it's installed
@miklschmidt issue continues even with what I would say is a well done crimp πΏ
first debug was with the jumper on for pt1000 second one is without it
Maybe my ebb42 is bad?

That will let you see which one is complaining. But don't leave this in your config
So my config is messed up?
Maybe? But right now klipper is protecting you so you can't tell which one is acting up
So how do I fix it?
Sorry if I sound like an ass BTW
Well first thing would be to listen to what I said earlier. Add that to your user override section in your printer.cfg so that klipper will stop shutting down long enough to see which thermistor is the problem
You don't, you just need to follow what we are telling you so that we can better help you
One step at a time, it takes patience
Oh I don't have my bed heater wired yet cuz of the 110v issues
Do you have the bed thermistor wired?
Nope π
Well, yeah that will cause issues π€£
Now, what 110v issues are you referring to?
Sorry took me a few to realize I had to click the #unknown to see what you were posting π€¦ββοΈ

So I been afraid to wire up too many things at once
That was a while ago, has RatRig not sent you new parts yet?
Nope
The very next announcement post said that RR would contact by the end of the week
So far no one in the 110V has gotten their parts yet as far as I have heard
They did it just said when it's ready it will be shipped by the USA distribution partner sorry I can't spell the name
Ok. Well, you will either have to attach your bed thermistor or add the override I linked to if you want klipper to stop complaining.
My advice would be to attach the thermistor
Oh ok I'll do that and now I'm feeling really dumb for not realizing it sooner I guess it what I get for doing it part by part to try and make sure everything is ok
It's good to be cautious
Thanks π
