When running around, random chunks in terrain that I've covered will be missing Setting is currently on "I paid for the whole CPU" and I'm running a 7800X3D, so I have a feeling that resources aren't an issue.

Chunky is known to cause LODs to turn into swiss cheese and bloat up world size, as can be seen in the attached screenshot. We recommend you enable "Distant Generation" in Distant Horizons' settings and wait. If you actually want to pre-generate vanilla chunks along with LOD data, disable Distant Horizons, wait for chunky to finish, then re-enable Distant Horizons.

I saw this in https://discord.com/channels/881614130614767666/1267100914490277898 so I tried it without Would clearing LODs fix the issue in the same way? @samalando (GMT)

It tries to save everything, but your CPU resources are not infinite
