gschema.override did not worked
I added this file, however the default favourite apps did not changed

AFAIK you're supposed to use dots instead of slashes in the header
so
[org.gnome.shell]
the format in dconf overrides is subtly differentas xyny said, that's the mistake
is this correct?

This is in dconf format, since it's relocatable schema
maybe it can be clarified better

hmm, i am starting learning about these deep concepts on linux, probably is my lack of knowledge
TBH the gschema / dconf stuff is one massively underdocumented legacy thing
