Styling Suggestions - Kiltie Tassel Loafers

Thrifted a pair of very lightly used GH Bass loafers for quite cheap as I’ve been wanting to try loafers - these are my first pair. Wasn’t particularly for or against tassels or kilties prior to getting this pair and wondering if/how they style differently vs other loafers. My initial thought is to lean casual somewhat like the “house” style, with a combo of workwear/military/Ivy. I threw them on on with a handful of my typical pants - linen, denim, ecru double knees and fatigues. Any combos that really work (or don’t)? Feel free to drop inspo as well, will be workshopping some full fits as I break them in. Cheers!

I like em with the black pants the most, green ones take the second spot.

I think it works with basically everything you’ve shown here It just gives a certain ivy vibe to stuff, might not work if you wanted to wear something more workwear-y for example (where boots would probably be better)

I have some which I've worn in a variety of different fits, I think like you say the extra detail of both the kiltie and the tassel definitely helps with dressing them down in ways that plays with the formality. I've worn mine with fatigues a fair bit, and also with otherwise very distressed-looking outfits

These are great, really feeling 1 and 4 in particular. I hadn’t thought to pair them with so many distressed or worn pieces but they look awesome in that context too, will have to give my worn old carhartts a shot as well
