DH Stops Rendering LODs and Giant Chunks of LOD Missing
These big corners are sometimes missing and don't even begin to appear as I approach them. My MC render distance (12) will load, but DH doesn't catch up in the direction I'm going. None of my specs are even hitting 50% (GPU occasionally goes to 60%) and I have 22 GB of RAM dedicated to the MC installation I'm on.

To clarify DH is working and will catch up, just really really slowly.
what cpu load are you at in DH's settings?

tbh Ive noticed that I have these frame skips every so often
it runs like butter for 4 seconds and then it'll freeze for a frame or two, even when standing still
The frequency of it is the same if im creative sprint flying in a direction or just standing still
Try a higher preset, that should speed it up
Sounds like GC spikes. How much ram did you allocate to Minecraft?

I put it on 12 and it stopped happening while standing still

If it crashes or does not launch, change the JAVA version to 21

so insted of e.g. 8 -> 16 -> 12 -> 16 -> 12
It will use 8 -> 14 -> 14 -> ...
and free it in the background instead of freezing the game to do it
I think it fixed it although Im still using 12
I have 4k 144hz monitor with 32GB ram and Im running Bliss shaders
how much would you recommend I allocate specifically?
You can now try to go back to using more, though I don't think it will benefit from more then 16 maybe 20 GB
I have it at 12 GB
And tested that it filles upt to 14 GB and does not raise further
I have a lot in background so I can't allocate much more from my total 32 GB

If I would buy more RAM I would give it probably 16 GB
or 24, depends what would the usage be after upgrade
my frames are worse but it isnt skipping especially when Im not moving fast

update, sometimes they will render if I walk up and render them with my MC chunk limit,
looks like DH will render around those giant areas above (it will work in other areas in that direction) until they are loading in manually
