Strange black leaves and missing chunks
There are these strange leaf artifacts and dark chunks, is this a known issue or is my pc just weird

Did you use Starlight mod at some point?
yea, I am using starlight
Starlight chages how vanilla chunks save and is incompatible with DH 2.1.2
you need to use DH 2.1.0 or wait for 2.1.3 in both cases Starlight compatibility will cause performance degradation when generating LODs
removing starligh won't fix it

The chunks are already saved with the Starlight format
removing starlight won't change that
you will just make every new chunk save as intended
and you will have to fix the old chunks manually by going to them and updating them
but removing starlight in general fixes the issue as the chunks will no longer save with the incompatible format no?
cant I also delete the old chunks from the files?

your vanilla chunks are also affected, so yes but that wont fix all chunks
