whats wrong with this button placket and can it be fixed?
So i bought this rayon shirt earlier this week. I hand washed it in cold water and hung it up to dry. Now im noticing that there is some crinkly weirdness all along the buttoning placket. No matter how much I try to pull it into shape there seems to be no configuration where it remains smooth. What is wrong here and how can I fix it?

possibly could iron it on low heat? note that i have never tried this before so i advise caution if you do
also could just live with it. you're probably the only one who will notice it
I already ironed it. This is post ironing, which has improved things somewhat...
I would bet there's an interlining under the placket which has shrunk differently to the outer fabric.
yep, there is
(also I hate this type of "open" placket
it always gets messy
