DH makes my fps very unstable

I know I'm in a jungle but trust me it does the same in every biome, I tried removing only DH and I get a solid 70fps (cap) the conditions between tests were the exact same

DH will reduce your fps decrease vanilla RD

there's too many worldgen tasks going on at once causing massive gc spikes here

to match the fps and enjoy higher DH RD

depending on your core count that could still results in a dozen active worldgen tasks, those eat memory. lower this to low impact he's on a 3080 and it's already at 8

yea 8 mb

it's gc pressure that's causing spikes here

if it's still stuttery at low impact you can try increasing the allocation a bit to reduce the GC frequency it's only dropping down to around 4gb after the GC runs interestingly enough. can you send logs? /logsstored

You should send your latest.log file to provide additional useful information. Logs are located in the .minecraft/logs directory. On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/logs Please upload the file to mclo.gs instead of sending the raw file. This makes reading the contents of the file a lot easier and improves the chances of you getting the help needed. After uploading the file, click on Save and send the link.
