Sever LOD File
Hello, I'm using chunky to pregen my world and using the experimental DH mod on the sever to also get LOD's. My question is can I simply copy the DH files from the server to my client? Or are these files specifically different? (Like the "DistantHorizons.sqlite")

you shouldn't need to if you have the serverside mod on both the client and server
the server should automatically send LODs to the client
there was a partial merge?
Last time I used server side fork, the format was slightly different, so it would not work, but maybe something changed
/chunky
Chunky is known to cause LODs to turn into swiss cheese and bloat up world size, as can be seen in the attached screenshot.
We recommend you enable "Distant Generation" in Distant Horizons' settings and wait.
If you actually want to pre-generate vanilla chunks along with LOD data, disable Distant Horizons, wait for chunky to finish, then re-enable Distant Horizons.
no, thats why i said that would happen if you have the serverside mod on both the server and client
and by
That
you mean what?the server sending LODs to the client
sorry, I've read
you shouldn't need to have the serverside mod on both the client and server
instead of your message xD
have a nice daylol, alright
I see, but theoretically I could?
no
so i only need the serverside fork on the server?
no, you ned it on both, server and the client
ah
so basically
when the serverside fork is installed, the LODs should only be stored on the server's computer?
IDK if the client using the server side fork caches the LODs, but if I remember correctly th fork uses different format on the servers
IDK why though
maybe it got changed back
maybe not
Sorry for comment but where can i find server DH versions?
