Looks great to me. I bought one of these 20 years ago and have worn it almost every winter day every year since. I’ve had to get pockets and button holes and cuffs repaired, but otherwise these things really last.

Based on that, it seems like the one you found is from the 1980s, and the wool is not as nice as earlier versions. This is something I learned from @Digs , who knows a lot more about this.
