is there anything white on top of those chunks? maybe something like snow?
actually they dont exist
once i walked around it for a few times, it stopped apearing
and it was only rain
Oh that's weird
I'm guessing it was showing chunks from a different world
Are you on a server?
Yes
Did you name the server "Minecraft Server"?
How i check the server name?
You speaking of the ip itself?
You open MC and click the multiplayer button
Oh yeah it is not that then
Did the server itself change the world?
i deleted the world a few times
That's probably why then, it's showing chunks from the previous world
so how do i fix it? reset my client?
well it is a client side mod of course
Once the chunks are updated, it shouldn't happen again
And from your screenshot it doesn't look like many chunks were weird, right?
sometimes they do that thing near other chunks, not the exact issue
but once i get near, it fixes itself
You could try deleting your SQLite file(s) to reset your LODs
/lodstored
Single Player:
- Overworld:
.minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Nether: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM-1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- End: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Custom Dimensions: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIMENSION_FOLDER/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
Multiplayer:
- .minecraft/Distant_Horizons_server_data/SERVER_NAME/
Thank you! also how can i load the LODs like how i load chunks?
I know there is some info around the server but i didnt understood at all
on single player you can just wait
on multiplayer you need to explore the world
you can also copy the world to single player and generate the LODs there, after which you copy the LODs to multiplayer data
or install the very experimental #Server-side support on the server and client
Smart!
How heavy the lods are?
So i can open the same seed with the same mods
not even explore, just left steve standing still
and go back after few hours?
Yes, you should be able to do that
so..
lol
