ram usage weird behaviour
when i allocate 16gb of ram it reaches 100% usage so i allocated 24gb and it only uses 12gb anyone know why it uses less when there's more ?

Could you send a screenshot of your f3 menu with 16gb allocated then with 24gb allocated thanks!
and sometime it uses 4-6gb
my specs are 4090 7800x3d and ddr5 64gb 6800mhz
It might be the JAVA GC working wierd
Try changing the GC to the new Generational Z GC
Note: to use this GC you need JAVA 21
It should have more stable behavior and much less stutter
you appear to have more terrain loaded/visible with 16 GB allocated.
Why? i have no idea
Memory pressure perhaps?
