Vanilla render distance (?) issue
When flying with the elytra chunk rendering creates this effect where I can see the farthest chunks but not the closer ones so I see the underground caves but not the forest near me. Do I need to incerase the "vanilla" render distance? Or could it be one of the performance optimizing mod I'm using?
This does not happen when I turn shaders off, or at least not so visibily

This is overdraw prevention
normally a setting in DH settings
but shaders override it
so look in shader settings
you can also just make sure that vanilla chunks are loading fast enough
So:
- decrease vanilla RD
- install performance mods, e.g. C2ME (this one will cause slower LOD loading)
I've tried to set overdraw prevention to 0.0 but nothing changes, so I think the problem lies in the shader settings. However, I can't find any setting regarding overdraw prevention in any of the shaders I use
Yes, as I said shaders override this setting, unfortunatelly not all shaders support changing this value
do you know any shader that support this?
I know that simply-upscaled has a smarter way of cutting this circle, the faster you go the smaller it gets, but outside of that no
