Is there any way for it to support multiple overworlds?
Is there way for it to support multiple overworlds, i play in an smp and it has both terralith and the regular overworld but the coordinates get overlapped with eachother in distant horizons. any fixes???

if i turn that on after they already combined will it look normal or do i gotta reset the saved lods

also theres this thing i think there is but not sure, if theres like a way to preload lods in a multiplayer server so i dont have to go to all the chunks manually to view them from afar
If you have acces to server's world, you can copy it to singleplayer, generate LODs in single and then move then to DH's server data folder

if i did then the world would be looted 100%
why does this come up anytime i disable the mod in the setting
and u cant turn it on after without restarting
1. You can’t disable the mod in the settings, you can only disable the LOD rendering (LOD generation, updating and loading still happens)
2. I have no idea, but why would you want to disable it anyway?
Bcs glitchy, performance and it looks weird, and bcs I wanted to test if I disable rendering and fly a way then turn it on if those lods would generate

If it feels like LoD generation with
Distant Generator
is too slow:
Try increasing CPU Load
in Distant Horizons settings for faster generation, but you will experience more lag spikes and stuttering due to heavier workload on CPU.
To see if Distant Generator
is really working or not:
1) Check CPU usage while in-game, using Aggressive
settings of CPU Load
. If CPU usage's hovering around 80-100%, the LoDs are generating in the background.
2) Go to DH settings > Advanced Options > Debug > Wireframe
, set Enable Debug Wireframe Rendering
and Show World Gen Queue
to True
.
Enabling both settings will show you the visualization of world gen tasks queued and working on the map (blue boxes for queued tasks, red boxes for working tasks)that might be helpfull

Yes, outside your vanilla render distance

No, it will unload chunks that are outside of your DH render distance
alr so i needa put the dh render to max to get the most from it?
