Part fan runs 100%
Just got it wired up (VC4 400h), and it runs 100% no matter the settings in the configuration. Log attached.
Wiring is according to the guide, white wire from toolboard PA0 to the white wire on the fan. Power is fine, it's running the correct direction and sounds like a vacuum cleaner.
I've also checked for continuity from the toolboard PA0 to the fan side of the connector via back probing while everything is connected, and it is connected. Not sure what to check next.

With the wire from the toolboard jumped to the blue fan wire, it works as expected. So the instructions didn't cover the particular fan I have. This one:

The fan is not getting the pwm signal for some reason. Either misconfiguration or wiring issue. Can you take a picture of the configurator page on fan setup and a picture of the tool board where the wire hooks up? These 4028 fans are used in IT equipment and they default to 100% when they don’t get a pwm signal.

Ok, got out my scope, and I'm getting pwm to the tool board pin. I'm also getting signal on the connection wire from the jst plugged into the board. I'm getting pwm at the microfit connector. On the toolboard side an also on the fan side.
This is with the scope/neg to the 24v ground, and scope/pos to the white wire. I can also see the signal vary if I change the fan speed in mainsail.
if there's pwm on the wire at the fan connector, and the fan's not seeing it,
1. The wires are wrong and the blue wire is pwm and the white wire is tach
2. The fan has bad wiring
