oh thats really weird, as DH should not touch vanilla rendering/other mods rendering in any way. can you try with just DH to see if it maybe is a mod incompatability?

I remember an issue with bliss where leawind's third person/better third person made funny armors become funny

that's what's causing the issue, if you're using Bliss then know that just about every mod that is a third person camera changer breaks armor transparency
