sorry to revive a dead thread, but having checked some logs it looks like one of the issues for creating a settings file is here.
is this something that i could potentially fix in the DH code? or is this entirely on lunar client? I contacted their support team, and they said it was just an unsupported mod and there's nothing they could do
If someone made a merge request that fixed lunar client comparability while having no other compromises, it would likely be accepted. But I doubt this is something one of DH'S devs would like to do

Out of curiosity, why do you want lunar client comparability anyway? Why not use a mod loader that does not add its own mods and is therefore compatible out of the box?
i like the client, the mod menu, the out of the box shaders, the ui, the waypoints (dont want to have to migrate and i use them a lot in the world i play on)
also seems to be whats crashing the game
wonder if configBase wouldnt be null if the toml file was fixed
not saying the toml file makes it work but maybe fix to that would fix both
So you like the convenience of having stuff preinstalled, but are also willing to jump through so many hoops to get DH working?
(I have no idea if comparability is possible btw, I can't code for poop)
