Game Crashes When I Enter/Load a World.
I've looked around and can't find a solution online. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, tried different versions, deleted all other mods, deleted and generated a new config. nothing seems to work. Here are my logs https://mclo.gs/lHfspVf

Make sure the DH’s LOD database and all the folders above it are not in read only mode

- Overworld:
.minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Nether: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM-1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- End: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Custom Dimensions: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIMENSION_FOLDER/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
Multiplayer:
- .minecraft/Distant_Horizons_server_data/SERVER_NAME/ok I'm in the data folder, I dont see a DistantHorizons.sqlite
What about an overworld folder?

Are you sure you're looking in the right minecraft instance?
I believe so, im using the modrinth app. not sure if that would cause any issues.

Yea as soon I try to generate the world it instantly closes

That doesn't matter, you don't have the right program installed to open a .SQLite file

Can you try updating DH? I doubt it will fix the issue but it can't hurt to try

I've tried it on a few different mc versions and I've tried the newest and older versions of the mod
all do the same thing

yep, just DH, DH with iris, indium etc.
wont work at all
What about just DH and nothing else?
Nope, i've done it with just Distant Horizons absolutely no other mods
will still crash by itself

There was someone else a while ago with a somewhat similar problem. Their pc just started making a bunch of folders read only, perhaps the same is happening to you

The good thing is that for you at least it allows you to make it not read-only
But maybe you should use crystaldiskmark to be sure your ssd is not dying

i've been following along with this thread because i just had the same issue with DH 2.1.3 after manually updating, but read-only keeps being checked after applying. I went back to 2.1.1 and I didnt crash on the older version
so its reapplying the read-only attribute even after changing them all?
i use curseforge and i duplicated my instance before changing the DH version in the mod folder

yeah i'd see the popup to update DH when i launch but it never did anything so i did it manually and it started crashing on world join
But 2.1.1 was never officially released

I just tried 2.1.2 and 2.1.0

So 2.1.1 can have many forms. It can look almost identical to 2.1.0, or it can look almost identical to 2.1.2
