distant horizons on Mac
Hi I was wondering if anyone had figured out a way to get distant horizons working on Apple silicon Macs. I have tried going through the base game launcher and the prism launcher but my game keeps on crashing. Thanks for the help.

You should send your
latest.log
file to provide additional useful information.
Logs are located in the .minecraft/logs
directory.
On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs
On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs
On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/logs
Please upload the file to mclo.gs instead of sending the raw file. This makes reading the contents of the file a lot easier and improves the chances of you getting the help needed.
After uploading the file, click on Save
and send the link.Whenever I try to open the game through prism launcher it leaves me on a black screen
With distant horizons
send the logs
Ok will do
is it DH only btw or any other mods?
Only distant horizons when I remove the mod everything else works fine
As soon as I add distant horizons my game turns into a black screen and doesn’t move
hmm, what version of java do you have installed and are all your drivers up to date?
try using either j17 or j21
I am using Java 21 on version 1.21 on the Apple m2 graphics
Hi I can’t find my logd
Logs
On my Mac
you're using a modded launcher yeah? you should be able to use that to open the instance folder directlty
Yes
I am using prism launcher
Do you know how exactly I would do that?
no clue
Thank you for the help
I will just wait until I have a windows computrr
To use the mod
Thank you for your time
in my experience DH does not work well in mac, especially with any other mods installed. to find logs, what i did with vanilla launcher is go into installations, and next to edit button there was like a folder button i think where i could find the minecraft files
from there i looked around in files to find the latest log file
but DH works wayyy better on windows
and in a custom launcher, to find folder is prob similar
