github pages using Vite

Hello, I've been struggling for quite a long time with github pages. As I've used Vite for my simple todo project my index.html is stored in public folder, therefore the github pages can't reach it as it looks for it in the root folder. I've tried to create a new branch where index.html was in the root, but it just doesn't work at all. Could therefore somebody give me a hint how to process it further? ๐Ÿ™‚ That's the link for the project. https://github.com/Bilek-Petr/todo-app Thank you guys!! I haven't worked with github before this project, so please, be respectful.

I dont think you can deploy a backend (your server folder) to github pages if that's what you're trying to do. I could be wrong tho

github pages is only for static websites if you can, somehow, pre-generate everything, you can add a github action to do all the work

I have also had issues deploying Vite projects with GitHub Pages. Instead I use Vercel or Netlify. They make it easy to select the site's base directory and also have way faster deployment. Try using either one of them: - Vercel - Netlify
