My friend Solo sees the chunks he walks on.
Hi guys good afternoon, I have a singleplayer world, I use the normal distant horizons. But my friend doesn't use it. It does not load the distant horizons as it should. He only sees the chunks that he walks through.

@Yeshi (GMT+2) Can you help me pls?
If your friend does not use Distant Horizons, the LODs won’t show for them
I’m not sure if I usnderstand what you wrote
DH works for you but not for your friend?
Are you playing together?
Exactly
yes, in my world
I have 300 chunks displayed and the map is pregenerated with 10,000 blocks, he does not see anything. He only sees the chunks he has walked through.
On LAN or a connection mod?
Or on a server?
If the first one it is expected behavior
Nor DH nor the #Server side fork supports LAN or similar, a.k.a. those mods that connect you without standalone server
It's not a server, it's my world lan through essentials
Then only the host will be able to use Distant generation
A.k.a. Load the lods without first exploring them
There is nothing you can do
Support is not planned
So my friend will not be able to see?
Why?
Because minecart default server has a protection that block it from sending chunk data outside of vanilla 32 RD so that cheaters can use it to locate players houndreds of blocks away and to stop haters from crashing your a server by telling it to send millions of random chunks at the same time, and this protection can’t be removed in an easy way
You can try sending him your already generated lods

Single Player:
- Overworld:
.minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Nether: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM-1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- End: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Custom Dimensions: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIMENSION_FOLDER/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
Multiplayer:
- .minecraft/Distant_Horizons_server_data/SERVER_NAME/
okay, one moment
It won't let me send the file, it's too heavy for the discord limit.
Ahh I get it, I just drag those lods from my folder to his folder?
Yes
And hope it works
If it doesn't work, is there any other solution?
You can create a standalone server on your PC and copy your world there, then use the #Server side fork
Eso se puede hacer?
Yea
If a server has the server-side fork then players can generate the chunks on the server
It’s easier to share the file with your friend though
I share the file and it will work?
This file?
In my friend's folder, where do I put the distant horizons file?
How do I give the lods to my friend, in which folder do I put the lods?

Yes, but I have the world, what folder should I put the file in for my friend?
LAN and LAN similar servers through mods such as Essentials are not officialy supported
Look what folder will be created in the server data folder when he joins your world
And put the lods there
I don't know how to check it, but I'll look it up and see where I put the lod.
