Why does dh doesn't work in multiplayer?

What exactly do you mean by doesn't work? Distant generation can't work on servers because the server refuses to send chunk data far from the player

So lets say, if i join in LAN with a friend and both of us have the same mods and config and all, if we move we both can see the LOD's generated from the chunks explored?

well dh can load chunks, but not generate
You can always create a standalone server on 1 of your PC’s
It is not that hard, Google it
