Do you have serverside dh on the server and client

You need serverside fork for client and server
If your server is just vanilla and not like, fabric/forge then you'll have a harder time to implement mods
I think it also just makes sense to make your server have a modloader
Just incase you experience tps drops
Stuff like lithium(server performance) and krypton(network) help
