OVERLOADING CPU / HIGH TEMP
Hello, i've noticed that the new version of Distant Horizon for 1.21 somehow causes the CPU to reach insane amount of temperature without a reason, i put it in confront with the 1.20.4 (DistantHorizons-fabric-2.1.1-a-dev-1.20.4) and that one runs smoothly (40-60) Celsius, while the 1.21 version (DistantHorizons-2.1.2-a-1.21-neo-fabric) the CPU reaches 85-100 Celsius all the time.

turn cpu usage down in the config
where is the config file located at?
go to the ingame options there should be an icon at the top left next to the FOV click that then change ur cpu load
ingame
theres a square with the dh logo
If you did not want the 100% of your CPU to be used, you could have bought worse CPU
If you wanted to use 100% of you CPU you paid for, you should have got a better cooler
Yea it crashes when I click on it so I need to edit by config file
/config
To edit the config, press the button next to the FOV slider to edit the config.
The config file found in .minecraft/config/DistantHorizons.toml
Pathetic
I don’t got that file, anyone?
You should send your
latest.log
file to provide additional useful information.
Logs are located in the .minecraft/logs
directory.
On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs
On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs
On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/logs
Please upload the file to mclo.gs instead of sending the raw file. This makes reading the contents of the file a lot easier and improves the chances of you getting the help needed.
After uploading the file, click on Save
and send the link. That’s how I edit the config….? lol
no that is the command for YAGPDB
Polish skid
?
?
I don't think I understand
what you meant to say
neither in context or outside of context
Speaks enough 🙂
As he said, pls send logs
If editing config worked then don't send logs
Or just send modlist
Cus that's usually why
Send modlist on both instances of 1.20.4 and 1.21
The extra world gen 1.21 adds might be the reason?
Though I doubt it
