I just bought the plugin and my project is stuck on "Discovering Asset Data" (only happens with the plugin enabled) 🥲

If you go to this path, do you have a folder with the name of your current project there?
C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\PolygonFlow\ContentLibrary\UnrealContentLibrary
No, I just have a uuids_data.json file
how big is that file?
26kb
gotcha. Could you delete it (or rename it to uuids_data_old), then restart UE and see if it helps?
I'm testing with a clean project, the clean project works
oh, the plugin is disabled, I'll enable it
Empty project works
During the trial I set the Dash project directory to another folder as a set of fixes for another issue recommended by the devs (Onedrive problem), I deleted the folder and now the project works
gotcha! Good to hear. I recall seeing our devs pushing some fixes on this issue internally, but will check on Monday if it need some more work.
Now I have another issue, I want to work with a pack of decals, but they arent detected by the Dash content browser:
I want to use the decal scatter feature with this pack
clicking include materials but same result
For decals, I'd recommend to just drag & drop them in your scene from the UE content browser, then open the tool decal scatter, and give it to them, and then also give it the surface you want to scatter decals on.
Here's how.
The UI in my video isn't the same as the public Dash one, but it's the same logic: type "decal scatter" in the search bar, then hit Enter
Hey thanks for the video, it works for me!
btw, you can do this for pretty much everything. None of our tools require the content browser; it's just a slightly easier way of finding and using the tools. We'll fix some issues around the content browser, and then the whole process should be much easier moving forward.
Yes! it works now, that's what I wanted, thank you very much, I appreciate the help, yes, it works great.
Perfect!
