How much can you take in gurkha pants/shorts in the waist with the waistband thingy
Looking to buy a pair of gurkha shorts for the first time and i notice there's this waistband thingy that I think can tighten/loosen if needed? How much do they usually tighten by or are they mostly for cosmetics?

Usually there is something like a fabric belt built right in to the side. I’ve attached a photo for reference. Not sure about how much it’ll adjust, that will probably depend on who you buy them from
