Barely any generation is happening.
Hello, here is a list of my mods:
1) Fabric api 0.100.4+1.21
2) Axiom 3.1.0 1.21
3) indium 1.0.33+mc1.21
4) Distant horizons-fabric-2.1.3-a-dev-1.21
5) iris-1.7.1+mc1.21
6) sodium fabric-0.59+mc1.21
Every couple of minutes something tiny loads. But apart from that nothing else is happening. Cpu load is on aggressive.
Let me know what other information I can provide.

If it feels like LoD generation with
Distant Generator
is too slow:
Try increasing CPU Load
in Distant Horizons settings for faster generation, but you will experience more lag spikes and stuttering due to heavier workload on CPU.
To see if Distant Generator
is really working or not:
1) Check CPU usage while in-game, using Aggressive
settings of CPU Load
. If CPU usage's hovering around 80-100%, the LoDs are generating in the background.
2) Go to DH settings > Advanced Options > Debug > Wireframe
, set Enable Debug Wireframe Rendering
and Show World Gen Queue
to True
.
Enabling both settings will show you the visualization of world gen tasks queued and working on the map (blue boxes for queued tasks, red boxes for working tasks)Try installing mods:
- Noisium
- Faster Random
- Lithium
I installed all the mods you mentioned and i put the CPU Load on
I paid for the whole CPU
and wen in game its hovering around 17%
@Miki_P98Are in single or on multi?
Also send logs
/logstored
You should send your
latest.log
file to provide additional useful information.
Logs are located in the .minecraft/logs
directory.
On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs
On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs
On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/logs
Please upload the file to mclo.gs instead of sending the raw file. This makes reading the contents of the file a lot easier and improves the chances of you getting the help needed.
After uploading the file, click on Save
and send the link. What do you mean?
I have som random and weird chunks in the distance, but thats about it
I was running the world on a local server, but i tried it on a singleplayer world.
Seems to be better but still really slow and a bit bugged.
Running it without Iris, because it was doing some funny stuff in the logs.
@Miki_P98
On servers you need to explore the chunks first
Or you need #Server side fork on both server and client
And yes, the generation is slow 😦
Last time i ran it on 1.20.4 it was really quick
Is the speed something that will improve with further updates or?
It still doesnt solve a lot of bugges areas
It will but IDK by how much
