world generator not working even with cpu usage turned to max, but only for lower quality lods

should I change the compression or something? It is refusing to generate new lod's at lower quality, but its completely fine generating it at high quality. Using terralith + tectonic on fabric 1.20.4.

sorry for late replies, i haven't tried chunky, i allocated 8gb ram, I've reloaded the world and mc and it's still having a lot of trouble building and again, it builds the high quality lod just fine, it just can't seem to figure out the lower quality ones for some reason
