Merging two LoD areas
LoDs get stored as one file, which contains info about an explorer region.
What if, to LoD a whole map, two people create separate LoDs for different regions and the result gets merged?
Would be a bit complicated but could saved very much time- could this work?

Yes, but there is no automatic tool for that
You would have to merge the databases by hand using some SQLite viewer
